Read this! good info on people that have switched from Utec to Ecutek! apparently the utec is very tempermental with changes in weather..Ecutek is not because it retains the factory ecu to run things.

Since the UTEC is a piggy-back system, it's just trying to trick the ECU... The WRX ECU's are constantly learning, and tend to try to "fix" themselves when the UTEC is on them, and they can cause your car to become detuned... That's why I sold my UTEC and RAN to Dyno-Comp for the ECUtek flash... best thing I ever did.
