Well TiVo doesn't like to work with Cox Digital Cable, so I'm letting her go... this is the BIG BOY Tivo. I bought it and used it for like 2 weeks and then got the Cox DVR (alot harder to use than Tivo) But I can let this go to a new home for $100. (Costs $300 new)

Right, cause 170 Hours of recordings isnt really any better than 40 hours...
$100 is an incredible deal for a TiVo like this...

I was suposed to have my shit together on friday to call and pay marion for my AP, but we're short again on cash. SO ive got to withdrawl a few benjamins to make sure i have it set aside. then take a few more out of my next check and order it just after the holiday. BLAH! Eff the cost of kids, and Eff the cost of mine and my wife's medications.... GRRRRRRRRR

It depends how you use it really :) I've only got a 20-40gig now (i forget which, whichever DVR comes with digital cocks), so I mainly just set it to keep a couple shows. However, with a huge mamma jamma like 170GB, you can browse through the week's movie selections and tivo whatever sounds interesting, then watch when you feel like it without worrying bout deleting it to clear up space. Voila, the thing pays for itself in saved movie rentals :)
and yes, $100 for 170GB is a smokin-ass deal. If you don't have a tivo (or you do but haven't hacked it for more space), it's sooooo worth it
