CGM STi newbie

Hey everyone, just wanted to say hi, I met a couple of you at PIR on Sunday. I'm really bad with names, but I remember cars :) I'm the one that was kinda stalking around and asking questions like "are you from Surge?" Anyway I bought an 05 CGM STi back in August (but still no plates) and want to start doing some track events here and there, as I get better a customed to driving a manual in a performance environment. I have pictures of the car, just not resized or hosted anywhere (yeah so posting in the readers rides section is retarded, but I figure I'll get pictures hosted sooner or later). Anyway here's the info

Yeah I think we said hi briefly, your wagon had the blue tinted headlights and jdm fogs...I also met Evil 8 (Brian?) and chatted with him a little bit since it was his first track event. I wanted to get an impression of what it was like. I would come to the next event FIR, but I'll be out of town, and plus I heard it's a pretty scary track for first timers...Hopefully I'll be at the next one after FIR...I still feel nervous about getting on the car at the track...

Its normal to be nervous.

You will need to sign up for the Saturday class for your first event.
That will get you comfortable and familiar with everything thats going on.

Keep an eye here and one surgeusa.com for the upcoming events.
We'll probably be BSing about everything before it actually happens :)

Thanks everyone for the kind words...what's up Adam, sorry about the name thing...I did need to get my rockblocker reapplied...I hit some stuff on the freeway that took out the front splitter and chewed up some of the rockblocker (but no paint damage) I've been meaning to stop by Surge one day and meet up with all of you guys, but something always comes up. I'll make it out there one day (hopefully with STi, still not registered :() Thanks again for the comments!!
