View Full Version : Need 14"s
The 17"s on the hatch weigh about 60 lbs a corner with tire...no lie. I want ot buy some 13" or 14" rims. If anybody sees any out there, let me know.
I know it's rare...a 14" rim heh. The reason for possibly 13"s is to reduce the tire diamter so much, it would be like getting a final drive upgrade!

Daytons!
Found some stock 13"s i'm going to borrow!
If I like them, I'll buy them...for uber cheap. Falken makes quite a few tires in the 13" size:
175/60/13 - underdrive the tires by 3.7%!
185/60/13 - under drive the tires by only 1.6% but wider
205/60R13 - wide for a 13" but overdrives the tires by 2.7%
The 205/40/17 tires on there now overdrive the tires by a monstrous 6.2%. Not good for a slow car!
I'm thinking of the 175/60's as teh -3.7% drive will rule.
I put on some stock 13"s with 175/50/13 tires. This car is actually kind of peppy considering it's just over 2000lbs! Those bling bling 17" rims weighed like 50-55 lbs with tires. The 13"s weight like 28 lbs with tires!
That's about 90 lbs less  Who wants to goto FIR for sco night? hehe j/k
