washing and stuff...

So... after spending 5 hours washing and waxing my car today(when the hell are we doing the clay bar thing!?!), I figured I'd ask what everone uses to keep their ride clean. I usually only wax my car once a year (I know... plus subaru paint is ish!) and unfortunately when I wash my car I have to go to a car wash place to do it, since I don't have a way to do it at home, so I'm stuck to whatever crap soap they use.

To wax, I've been using Zymol, and I like the way it works. How have you guys had experience with other stuff, and what do you use? Anyone use that bald-guy spray wash stuff? XX3d.gif (http://www.celebsdb.com/pic2/Pure-Dee/1.html)

bald guy spray and wash only works on a mostly clean car.......i wash my car weekly, i use meguiars professional wash(only avail online), i've been using meguiars nxt wax lately which is awesome, followed by meguiars quick detailer. nxt rubber shine is kick ass too and im also using nxt quick wax inbetween washing...i used to only use the pro line but the new nxt stuff is really nice. and it is time to clay bar! im still waiting to get rid of my spec v so i have the garage space...i have a fairly big collection of products which im sure mox or eric will attest too :lol:

the s2000 guys swear by some stuff called zaino

I use meguiars soapy stuff, mr clean to spray (less spots), and then chamois it dry. I use meguiars 3 step every 6 months on the s2k and when I have to clean off the cone marks. As soon as my 3 step is used up I will try out zaino.

Two weekends ago I did the 3 step on the nissan. Going forward, the nissan is onlyl going to get nu-finish polish every 6 months or so. Unlike most new nissans, its paint is pretty good quality (except for the damn mirrors).
