The inner door lock/unlock mechanism didn't work on the car, so I had to use the key to lock/unlock the beotch.
I took the door apart to see what was wrong. There was a metal rod that connects the inner door lock to the actual lock. That was missing, and the one plastic end where it connected was broken.
The good news is that there was some disconnected wiring in the door. It looked like a solenoid for a remote door lock :twisted: I picked up a solenoid, rigged up a metal jimmy magoo...and BAMN I've got keyless entry on the driver side of the hatch :)
I'll take a pic...solenoids are pretty badass.
