umm.. drive an 88 Toyota Celica All-Trac, general mods were already done (intake, header, exhaust, always-on ic water pump, etc.), which means anything I do want to do is gonna be trickier than your average bolt-on.
Experience... well, I've owned a lot of crap cars, this is the first car I've owned that was really worth owning (#1- 87 accord, automatic and completely stock. #2 - 92 sentra SE that was nothing but problems, also stock, #3 - 95 Neon, stock, that was run off the road 4 weeks after I bought it and never fully recovered). Not much experience with anything too fancy, but then, that's why I'm here :) Just about everything seems to be a learning experience in some way or other, but that's half the fun (even though sometimes it is a huge pain in the ass) :P

Basically, I'm the guy that's going to be asking all the stupid questions :)

My name is Kevin and I spend way too much money on tires. I'm an autox whore and I've raced:
-02 spec v ok, but nothing to brag about (SOLD)
-97 200sx se-r, shit always breaks...its the wife's car ;)
-95 neon acr, the best stock FWD handling car I've ever driven (SOLD)
-95 Integra GSR n/a 225 whp..very sick...tends to blow motors...but I've spent a lot of time behind the wheel (not my car)
-03 S2000: the best handling car I've ever driven...it's not a go fast straight line car, but it honestly has mad 3rd gear vTec y0! (current daily driver)

Soon to come: Lionel's 94 Civic Hatch...lowered with 17's and slow as shit, but it gets 38mph and I won't give a shit about door dings

Possible replacement cars for my wife's shitty Nissan: Scion xB, SRT-4, Subaru STi, or Erin's Wagon when he gets tired of it ;)

It's an 02 Silver mofo.
AEM CAI, OBX Header, Apex'i Exhaust, JIC FLT-A2s, Racing Hart C5's, motor mount inserts, B&M Short Shifter, DG CF Hood.

I am currently stealing any salvageable part from Erin's V on jackstands. :)
The car is about 50% his now I suppose. LOL

The only other car I owned was and 87 Toyota Celica GT-S, Canuck-Spec.
I am also the one that found ben the 88 Alltrac, you owe me MoFo!

I know enough about cars to break shit... that's about it.

yup. Speaking of which, Mox, we're gonna need a broken stuff/troubleshooting section. It was just what you guys thought though, the exhaust is hitting the crossmember and resonating between around 3200-3600RPM. So I either get to take it out and bend the hangers, or find slightly smaller dampers, or just suck it up and deal with the inside of my head vibrating when I drive :P

Oh yeah, and my intercooler's on the way :D It's in illinois right now, should show up at Moxie's house on friday. woot!

you mean smaller/shorter hangers?? cause if thats the case i would spring and buy some kartboy hangers!! shorter and much stiffer!! i put those on my wrx to keep the exhaust up more and from moving side to side! they say for subaru, mitsu but they fit most all cars..used them on a spec too!

86 sentra, hey for $500 it was a good car, over the years I replaced or rebuilt just about everything in it. Then it got trashed, dont ask, I am still pissed off about it.
86 1/2 hardbody, still takes me from point a to point b, and its still all original, I should replace those hoses some day
02 spec-v, so far its been good to me, its fun to auto x and maybe one day I might figure out what I am doing???
