Or maybe not :(

Let's just say the other driver failed to yield. I had nowhere to swerve to avoid her, so I did all I could to slow it down. The airbags didn't deploy ;)

No CRA 8/12 event for me.

I drove it home ok, but it won't be driven any more until it's fixed. The other car on the other hand was not driveable...fear it

ah man, that's a shame kev.......more reason to run out and buy another car:) this is why, two track-worthy cars are necessary in every home. is the damage all cosmetic?

finally! someone gets it! ;)

You don't need 2 track cars in every home (not that I'm against it). You just need to have a track car that is not your daily driver.

Even if I had the se-r, I probably would've still been driving the miata :( So....yeah, what Brady said!

Now that I'm back from vacation, I'm going to work on getting a rental car. I won't let them stick me in a shitbox kia. Maybe a hertz mustang rent a racer? heh.

i have a hertz gold card membership, and they sent me a discount rate for that stang..............except it's on a wait list to rent?!!! and i didn't say "two track cars", i said "two track worthy cars"!! as in, one that you would normally take, and then your daily driver that could also serve as back up:)

I still like the M3 idea...

yes, but full track ready mustang can easily be built for less than the initial cost of a stock 97 m3.

True but BMWs don't have mullet crazed people driving them. And they look like 72 1/4 times better

i'm eagerly waiting for the stang!

I got a mazda 6 for a rental. Beats a focus, but I just can't stand driving automatic cars. I think the "manual" shift mode is gay and sucks.

An auto is good for men who really have vaginas, and for those how can't modulate power on corner exit.

My roommate has a Mazda 6 (the V6) and it is decent... for what it is. I heard that the Mazdaspeed 6 was badassed though.

Picked the car up this morning, and it looks awesome. I think I'm going to have to get the rear bumper painted eventually and the damn thing will look new :)

Pics when I get home, which is like an hour or so from now :)

It was pretty rough. The lower lip had a gouge or two. The front bumper and half the hood had a few thousand rock chips. The hood had 3-4 good sized dings. It looks 10 times better in person than in the photos.

One of my stock wheels has been bent (by the previous owner). I'm sick of the 60-70mph shimmy, which is pretty bad. I've got Brian's Rota Group Ns on the car temporarily and all is well (except his crap ass tires pull the car to the right :P).

So it was time to order some cheap and subtle wheels for street duty. Silver Rota Attacks are on their way.
