SO...after debating this for the last few months, I decided I needed to get rid of the WRX.
As you all know, I dont race the car and they are really not the most economical cars on the road. The car continually costed me more money, my insurance kept going up every couple months ($216 per month) and I was averaging about 17mpg on 91.

I traded it in for an 07 Corolla S, now im rockin 41mpg and my insurance is less than $100 per month. Though it was hard to trade it in for a corolla, i am glad I did it and it was the right move for me.
I also have a wedding to pay for and that weighed heavily on the decision, now I begin the search for a car I can buy cash that will be my fun car. All I have to figure out is which one takes priority car<>weddiing. =)

wedding = her priority, always. fun = guys priority. marriage = no more fun, no more spending on fun.

What are you thinking about for a fun car? How's the Corolla? The S has the 180 hp and the 6 speed right? Seems like a decent daily driver.

Who did I screw to get such good insurance premiums... I pay 150 a month (or 750 every 6) for an 06 Titan and an 05 Evo. I am awesome.

NAh the XRS they stopped making in 06, thats the one with the 180hp 6speed...the S has 130hp/130tq but it olny weighs like 2500lbs...its not as quick as the rex but its deff not bad. Im not sure what im thinking for a fun car, maybe like a miata or swapped hatchback..or a new z06 =)
My insurance is bad becasue im 24 and single...the symbol rating on the wrx sedan has changed in the last few months, I wish I would have gotten the wagon bc thats is not too bad for insurance. Berto, you probably get a good deal because you have 2 cars insured and your over 25 right? but, the EVO is one of the most expensive to insure.

i pay $253/mo. full coverage on wagon, forester and spec v. i rule. or i'm old.
miata is a good way to go, cheap all around.

OR I was thinking a 96-97 Sentra SE or 200sx SER with a SR20DET in it. Not sure about the FWD but I have always wanted one of those.

How about a 1990 Isuzu trooper?! Well, it was worth a try...

I had a corolla type s rental during one of my tranny mishaps :p fun car but it did feel too plasticy when compared to my bugeye. Torquey engine made for fun one-wheeled burnout :p

The Sti when I had it (and only it) cost me 620/6 months... and I was 24. Went down to 520 when I hit 25. Evo ended up costing the same amount (I was down to 500 every 6 mo before I bought the Titan... then it jumped up to 750). I think I just lucked into my plan and haven't given them a reason to jack up my rates... so I'm happy :)
