Two-tone brown with wood/tan leather interior - you gettin old on us Nick?

Hehe, jk... congrats on the truck man - I know how hard it is to find a used diesel that's not thrashed.

It's Mineral Grey, and I'm not thrilled about the interior, but it will do. And it was the guy's wife's truck... hence the Stacey's Truck labeling.

And I am getting old

Nice looking truck. I'm not a fan of beige/brown interiors, but if it was a good deal...what the hell :)

Mineral gray... much better! (tough to tell from the pictures). Paint the trim to match... get rid of the wood and you're set!

Oh, and the obvious chip/exhaust - so you can tow my house around!

And the funny thing... one of the biggest guys at my old gym's name was Stacy... guess you have to be huge with a name like that. :)

Nice truck, the interior is not that bad, without the wood trim. How high are you going to lift it?? (if that's the direction you're going)

I've seen this conversion kit where you can convert cooking oil into diesel fuel, it costs like $3k for the kit, but you can make diesel fuel at home from the grease cooking oil from McDonalds. Assuming you got the grease for free (which most resturaunts will gladly give you) it's like $.70 a gallon to make. You get no lose in power or fuel efficency...your exhaust just smells like french fries :-D

Ultimate goal for the truck is to get intake, exhaust, and programmer ASAP (gas milage reasons) Then in about 2-3 months I'll be lifting it 6" with tasteful 18X10 wheels with 35" toyo tires.

I just got back from picking it up... and I love it. I think it can become a very nice truck once I'm done with it. The tan and brown colors are growing on me.

So, I'm thinking... http://www.biodieselsolutions.com/products...lmeister_II.asp

And http://www.rpmoutlet.com/dramhyppp3.htm

Plus http://www.rpmoutlet.com/diaafe2.htm, intake, 5" turboback exhaust and some guages in a 4 pod pillar mount.

Then in about 3-6 months a 6" lift is going on, along with 20X10 wheels and either 35" or 37" tires.

Here's the one I saw before about biodiesel:

That reprogrammer is cheap and it includes the software to do your own tune, that is pretty cool!

That is the same system that I posted the link to.

Yeah, cept your link don't work!

Can you fit 37's w/ a 6" lift? I'd go with 35's on an 18" wheel - 325/65/18 ftw! I'm getting 325/60/18's on my truck (bit bigger than 33's).

You're going to tune it yourself?

I'd get the Diablosport Predator or SCT Strategy Tuner - mo easier!

What do most people on the forums get?

Well, the base tune will be done by richard... then I can tweak it from there.

I thought about getting a regular programmer, but other than the ones you can change on the fly, I don't see the advantage over one I can tune.

Sweet buy Nick. Don't forget about propane injection. Adds about 40 hp, cleans the exhaust up, and improves fuel milage.
