yeah lots o' rain on sunday. the track had some serious puddles, and 3 cars in the wall. i know 2 of them were street cars(rx8 totalled, r32 Gti effed up).

this shows a little better, how much water there was. those puddles off the track, were also on the track.

Thanks for taking the pics, I'm anxious to see the rest. Did you end up taking any on Sunday or did you leave the camera in the dry hotel room?

Regarding the rain, the old (and flipped) NT01's were pretty damn sketchy on those straights. Anything over about 100 kph and the car was hydroplaning all over the place. I've never seen a race track pool like that before. The CRV that was doing the early lead-follows could have probably turned a better lap time.

I found this several-year-old, yet still very amusing dyno of the supercharged K24 CRX that crushed me (the NA one ran in the Street class). The green line is a stock RSX...I don't feel so bad now. :P

not to mention the KSport car is 2570lbs, which is more likely than not, a solid 550lbs more than the CRX. The CRX also runs on 255 width tires..

1900lb CRX +P255+300hp > 2570lb RSX + 225s + 195hp. regardless of who's driving!

Well they posted times for all the Time Attack sessions finally. I was hoping to see what my times were for the later session as it felt faster. Apparently the cooler track conditions didn't help better my time from the first TA.

I remember at the beginning of the first session slowing down to give myself plenty of room between me and the car in front of me....and then I realized that stupid move just hurt my speed at the beginning of the first lap. So much for me finding time out there and damn my autocrossness!
