Thought i'd give the newer people who i dont really know a little background on this club, or how it started......
Lets see, myself, kev, moxie(ryan), bphillipsaz(bryan), evil 8(adam), yeepee(george), gt-gasm(eric), veezy(freddy) all came from the 'spec v only' club Team V-Locity which myself, adam, ryan started 3 years ago!
We all met racing at firebird, decided to start a little club which turned into a pretty big deal..www.teamv-locity.com is still going strong today with lots of members. When we were part of it, we had a good 20+ spec v members. We worked with sco nights, did charities for Toys for Tots and St. marys and had many cars at all the events around town.
I must say, im very happy to have that original core group from that club here now!! We've known each other for 2-3 years now and have all become good friends...matter of fact, the majority of my friends in the 6 years i've lived here are all here and were because of our car addictions. :twisted: Everyone has helped me out big time with my projects...George, who works for abc nissan in parts really stepped up and got me thru some tough times with my turbo spec v! Couldnt have done it without you! Ryan and Ben have really helped/taught me with my 240.
Why am i telling this? i guess because its pretty amazing meeting these people because of a car, and because i look forward to making new friends with the new people that have joined us here..and to show you what a good core group of people we have here. :D cheers.
