i think they're cool cars indeed, sweeter front and side compared to my wagon. however, im sure you'll hate driving it in stock form. everything i've read on the subaru forums points to sloppy handling due to softer suspension, better turn in though with sti rack! also it gains 75 lbs over mine, which was horribly slow stock due to lag. you can due most all the same mods though, just be prepared to spend some $$ to make it perform like your used to in the spec v. otherwise, they are super pimp for the money...just think about when driving it, what you would need to do to make the car enjoyable for your tastes and add that to the price. :lol:

well, if you're going to void your warranty ...

crank pulley (equiv to removing 100lbs from car, so you can keep the shag carpet)
downpipe, too (probably before intake)
swaybars & endlinks (probably before coilovers)
if the dampers are equivalent to the WRX (?), you could use them with some lower/stiffer springs and save money. add GroupN bushings, and you have pretty good spring-damper setup for $400

unless you got mad mox cash, in which case your Cusco's will be here by next week, sir

After thinking it over and getting the bad news that pricing on leases is not as cherry as purchases I have kinda changed me mind. :)

I will call Pitre/Power Subaru and see what they can do.

If the red wagon has been sitting for a while I may see if they can work a deal.
