What do you guys think about these?

I just picked one of these beeches up a week or so ago. Mostly on a whim, and I had an open credit card(bad idea to carry a paid off card!).

I bought the PSP (250), replacement warranty(40), 512mb mammory card(80!!), usb cable(15), a movie(20), and need for speed underground(50). Altogether it was like $500.

It has a great screen, it's almost as powerful as a PS2, and plays movies, games, musics, etc... I find it useful and worthy of the money spent.

But then again, I could have bought $500 worth of suspension, too...[/img]

The screens are gorgeous. I'd pay $250 for one, but as you just said you really end up spending twice as much when it's all said and done. Cuz what good is it if you don't buy some games/movie and bigger memory card?

I'll prolly get one in a year or so, after the price drops. twice. honestly there just aren't any games out for it that i'm really interested in. There's more for the DS (which I only have a total of 3 games for) that I'd play.

Yeah... not too many games at this point, plus they're all about the same price as a PS2 game.

There is supposed to be about 200 games out by christmas, though.

I am very tempted by the psp... But I really haven't even played any games in forever, and don't need anything portable. Alot of money to spend on a toy I don't even really need
