Decals - Most Important Part?

I'll go ahead and start working on the decals.

I saw Julio's idea, and anyone else can feel free to submit ideas or concepts.
This will coincide nicely with the new 9&3 plans...

yes, most important part by far!! it's all about the decals. oh, and i was thinking of getting sheets of magnetic material for those that don't want to put the decal on the paint.

Armando has volunteered to make all the decals and I found one other place that KSport/CRA uses for theirs. These are my requirements for the number boards:

-"9and3 Challenge" across the top
-Incorporate skulls and crossbones somewhere.. perhaps copy the Surge decals
-Logos for: AZSolo.com, NASA, Firebird Raceway
-Each car needs two decals (one for each side). Numbers 1 through 25... so we have extras. That makes 50 total number boards. I'm just giving out numbers at random, unless there are requests. I reserve #7!

All of that crap should be incorporated into one single number board, like the Super Street Time Attack or GT Live ones.

Once I get a finished design, I'll just send it to Armando for an estimate/print.

I was thinking something skull-ish and racing at the same time... I found a couple that could be used...

I really like this skull... but instead of the flames, maybe the checkered flags should be larger and crossed behind him.

This is a pretty cool effect (the metallic-al-es-ness of it) but I don't think it'll carry over well to a decal. Also, instead of the generic racing, 9and3 challenge would look good below it.

I'll make some designs tonight. I redid a design for the last guy who posted on the board.

I have a few ideas for the sticker so I'll go ahead and get those up and going.
I'll be making the stickers and giving them to you guys at my cost. So I need a total number first so I can get an accurate price.

Also these "stickers" will be vinyl stickers with color print on them.

How long will it take you, once we have a design to get them done? I want to have them done fairly soon so we don't have to worry about them at the last minute. And I'd like to advertise the event on some forums, using the finalized design...ryan??

Once I get the final total and final layout, turn around time is usually 2-3 days.
Fairly quick.

I'll get some ideas up and going today and see how things go from there.
Any particular colors, pictures, themes you wanted?

Theme's are "Skulls" "Awesome" and "Win"
Also, a little "Bacon Cheeseburger" apparently.

There is no limit actually, but they charge me by the square foot.
So if the area is 18 x 29
They charge me for 2 ft x 3ft. There will be excess space left that is being wasted.

We will most likely size it based on those printing requirements.

Will most likely wind up with something like 14" x 24" or so. We can fit both decals (per number/car) in to a 2' x 3' print that way. There will still be some wasted space, but thats the breaks I guess.
