The whole engine was built by Full Race, all is custom. Car is out of order due to #4 piston low compression. Car will be up in a few months, First I have to take care of 5 tickets that I recently got. Car is capable of 800 HP
Car is a Nissan 96 240sx

I really like that tribal style sticker on the back window.
I have had quite a bit of work done at Drew Brothers Customs, and never had any compliants.

oh, cause julio said exterior, not interior...the supra at pavillions was probably done by 1st upholestry. they are always there. their in scottsdale on scottsdale rd, just n. of the freeway.
i had them do my spec v interior, remember!? or did you not see my spec v with the interior?

Yeah, that confused me as well. Unless you are driving a redneck truck with a sofa in the bed, seats are usually considered the interior.
But 1st upholstery does do nice work.

Ya I said exterior :p It needs a bumper in the pics and a nice wax to give it some shine :) the interior looked good with those seats! I say get rid of the carpet:p!!

The car was intially built by Intense and yes the did a effec up job at it. Then the car was taken to Full-Race and they had it for about 6months and they fixed everthing on it , plus added some much more stuff to it. I dont know about the chassis , the car itself look excellent, I dont see any sign of the chassis not being straight.

sounds like a nice setup! but why are you shooting for 700hp? i know you've wanted a nice 240 forever, seems you'd be better to dial it down and shoot for something truly reliable/driveable!? that much hp + light rwd = waste of power.

Well I dont plan on driving it everyday, and plus I started to think about 700hp on this car, Not really sure that it will reach my goal. But I will be happy if I can make it push over 500hp.

I guess once I talk to Tony , We can come up with a good HP # for this car. Like you said something reliable/driveable.

10-10-2007, 11:42 AM
I think you might need more cam if you're going for 700 hp. Since you're building up the head, why not go with something a bit more aggressive cam wise?
wgnths
10-10-2007, 12:27 PM
yeah i highly doubt those cams will allow you that hp. those cams are very mild. but, i think that's a good setup for a strong, reliable driver.

10-10-2007, 01:33 PM
True. I was actually thinking of upgrading them to Step 2. I have only bought the bottom end stuff, the top end stuff is already in the engine.
Okay so lets say I can possible manage to be around High 500 and low 600 hp. I think thats a good number to beat Z06's lol!

It's going to take a pretty big turbo to make that in an SR - probably gt40 size if I'm not mistaken (I don't think the gt35 can push that much air on that motor). I personally would stick with something in the gt35 range - possibly the new HTA Gt35 from Forced Performance. Ideally on a 1.06 twinscroll exhaust housing and a t3 twinscroll setup from Full Race. That's what's going on my car when the stroker goes in - it bolts up to my current setup too and I already have the exhaust housing :)

Current Turbo on my car...
T3/T67 H.O. Turbo
The T3/T67 H.O. is the newest addition the the Full-Race turbo family. This is absolutely the biggest most powerful T3/T4 turbo on the market today!
Compressor Specifications:
-T04R 67mm compressor wheel with a max flow rate of 75 lb/min
-0.70AR T04S compressor housing
-Good to 700 whp.
Turbine Specifications:
-P trim turbine wheel
-0.63 or 0.82 A/R. turbine housing available
-4 bolt standard turbine discharge
CHRA Specifications:
-360 degree thrust bearing standard
-Oil cooled&lubricated center section
Turbo manifold is from Full Race. So basicly im not worried about the turbo part. Just focusing on building the engine.

great numbers, but as i always ask...what are you going to do with it all? that power jump will be difficult to manage! did you do a pump tune, or lower boost?

Yes a pump tune was done. 400hp at 13psi on pump gas. The high powers on race fuel will be when I take the car to the track for Drag.

I tell him just keep the steering wheel straight and you will be fine =)
