Weekly in the west side

Not sure where you all live but there's a weekly suby meeting that goes at Ray's on the west side. Just wondering if you guys frequent that at all?

i keep meaning to post this, so thanks! one of these days i'll get the east valley group together and head over there...its just too far otherwise for me on a thurs night. i suggested a more central location but nobody seemed to bite. :(

A lot of people been pushing to start meeting at F1 so maybe that will be a better place to get a bunch of us out there.

I've only karted like once in the last 18 months. Aside form being expensive, it just doesn't provide the same thrill my S2000 does :) I hate the 180+ degree turns that are purposely meant to scrub off speed. F those karts and the ass sweat it generates. I was at F1 this month and didn't even race....I'm sick :evil:

i dont like f1's layout....and racing against the clock is no fun. i like speedway and the qualifying lap setup

whens the last time you been there, they opened up the left side track and redid it. It's a pretty fast course. I might have some buy one get one free races. I'll see who is willing to come out to F1 from the west side.

it was a blast man...the whole cart track was full us suby drivers. not sure how the honda guys did, but they filled a whole session too. there was like 5 or 6 subies and 8 or 9 honda/integras. pretty nice little meet. let's do it again when ever everyone has some free time. i think everyone is meeting at tilted kilt next thursday. should be interesting. then that weekend is the mormon lake drive and scca solo2. so maybe the next thursday after that? let's plan it.

Yeah man that was a blast. Too bad Steve put all of us to shame on both of the courses. But yeah we should do it again some time. Do we want to try the new kart track @ 67th and Bell. It is called Super Street. I know nothing about it though. Maybe ill go one night and check it out. Other than that good time. Ill see all of you guys next time.

yeah, that's what makes it so hard to get everyone together. it's so far from one side to the other. I'm pretty much right in the middle so anything is okay for me. I'm probably not gonna hit up the kilt this week, but maybe next week we can all meet at one of the spots.

It's right in the middle and they've got a huge parking lot where no one will complain about us parking and hangin out, not to mention racing carts is the shizzzzle. I would hit up the kilt with you guys this week, but i'd hear it pretty good when i got home, plus i would have my daughter.
