That Race Technik STi was sitting at a PASA event a month ago but I never saw it run. The probably prefered to run the 2 GT3 RS's that they own!

he was running DE2 all day with it. i didn't look at it up close, but looks like a really well put together suby.

I could see a red APS turbo and red intercooler piping so I know they didn't go with the cheap stuff.

That would be awesome if they had those bad assed Porsches but then built their Sti with a bunch of ebay crap :)

What are they anyway (Race Technik)? Some driving school sorta place? There GT3's are always out running in anything from the novice to full on race groups.

Race Technik is a good shop, they know what they're doing.. I don't think for a second that they'd be using Ebay parts. A few years ago they supported a Porsche GT3RS that won the 24 Hours of LeMans.

Doug, the owner, worked with me on the Ferrari Challenge race team in 2000-2001.. he's an Audi/BMW/Mini master tech and has a ridiculous amount of race and rally experience with Subarus, Porsches, BMWs, Minis and Audis. Honestly, if I could afford it, I would go to his shop over anyone else in the valley. I think he won some rally championship driving an STi a couple years ago.

I know, I was just joking - anybody who has the cash for the stuff they were running would definitely be using nice stuff.
