WRX - Take Two.

it only makes sense to transform a wagon into a dedicated track car, and have a sedan as a daily driver...so that's what i did. I've wanted a wrb bugeye from the moment they were announced.

Plans for this car are minimal. Something that gets better gas mileage than my truck, and i can drive it to the track or autox for a casual day. I've already ordered a new oem grille and carpet/sti floor mats. Replaced the current wheel with my nicer sparco, ordered subframe bushings to eliminate some old bushing slop, hps pads and putting on the racing brake frt/r rotors that came with the car.

In the near future, projector headlights, replace damaged front fender and maybe a cheap repaint. Basically, i'd like to make the car look new again.

I also downgraded from 255 worn azenis, to 245 bfg g sports. these wheels/tires will be my all seasons for driving in the snow/long distance.

Get that gauge out of there too (WTF Julio). Oh, and if you want a stereo, I still have the one my bro pulled out of his WRX (Boston Competition Sub, Alpine Amp for the sub and Eclipse amp for speakers). I also have a Kartboy shifter if you wanna run two (the cool people do).

actually, i have a nice alpine deck that came out of the xb so i was gonna use that. i have a new set of mb quart seperates that i never used either.

probably sell the boost gauge and get something that cant be seen, and i need to switch the hvac lighting to red.


julio, where did you get the tranny and who put it in? its got problems i believe. joe took a quick peek on the lift and something isnt right, and it's making some weird noises after driving for awhile. i think im gonna put a stock flywheel in it, to keep that part quiet.

Nice bugeye! JDM projectors for sure...my favorite dress-up mod on my old car. Totally cures the Neon-look front end.

I bought it off some guy from Cali. He was getting rid of cuz he bought a 6 speed to swap in. You sure its with the tranny? I felt fine to me! I never abused it just swapped it in and its only been in for about 5k miles. The wrx it came off of was owned by an older guy

did you install it? i think it's the clutch throw out or something. something isn't lining up after driving it for a bit, and it rattles. im gonna find a stock clutch/fly to put in, so joe can check it out.

no. not sure what it really is. doesn't seem to affect the driveability...and it's up for sale. i think its just something with the clutch install. it's not the tranny.

had a buyer yesterday but he couldn't come up with all the money. i've got about 20 others that have emailed me from craigslist.
