motor has moved out of customs and is in ohio? iowa? one of those places nobody cares about.

along with the motor, we'll have an exedy twin-disc, moroso oil pan, accusump, oil cooler, kevlar timing belt, possibly a split fuel rail and ia performances wiring harness to use the avcs.
my current 18g will be powering the setup for a little while. then goodspeed will build the twin-scroll 35r kit, with reverse manifold.
i want to get the car ready for november and tested, and get the fenders cut for the bigger tires as a priority. should still be pretty quick with the 18g.

Thanks Nick, I think we will be ok.
We did some checking on this engine just to see what we have. As far as we can tell it is a ver. 7 S202. My supplier has another ECU if they can't find this one. The S202 ECU has a 'special' file inside so we would like to stay with that.

Ok, I do have a spare Ver7 ECU if you need it... I think it's a Ver7-spec C ECU. Just an option.

Here are some pics of the build.
The first one shows the Cosworth oil control baffle with the Moroso oil pick up tube. Look at the size of the screen area.
The second is a shot with the Moroso pan on.
Next is the Cosworth pump with the kevlar timing belt.
Then the pan is on.
Finally the Exedy twin plate clutch.
There are a few things I need to do in the engine bay then we will drop it in.
More pics to come

True... guess you don't need the beauty of already almost done - and well.
I'd make that into an NA screamer... big nasty cams, super high compression, spend some money on the valvetrain/heads/manifold, maybe some ITB's too. It sure would suck from a driveability standpoint but it'd be a blast.

body shop has been working on the flares and tonight we went over where we want the cutting and fitment. and i've decided to repaint the whole car the same color but in a flat finish.
Also, the motor is in and started today. just a few things to finish it up.
here's how the 17x9s and 255's fit before the flare work.

some updates...
Flares are on but they still need some tweaking for fitment. need to cut the front bumper where we moved them forward for clearance.
the car is super dirty and hasnt been washed since it came out of paint. the lighting makes it hard to see how flat the paint is, but it's base psm with a matte clearcoat.

you can see where the front bumper needs to be cut and a portion at the rear. we cut more out of the front area of the fender, moving the flares forward where clearance was most needed.

tranny wise...no 6spd because i did the diffs are 5spd specific. probably due ppg gears.

That's all Songgi needs is divorce leading temptation.
I think they did same changes to the Tarmac's 2 valving on the newer sets that allows for even more a selection of spring rates. I'm not sure though but I swear i read it somewhere. I'm a n00b at all that. Right now, i'm just running the standard 500/400 rates.

oh yeah? i wonder if they'd take mine in trade. i talked to myles and, at the time said 600frt and move the 500's to the rear, was as stiff as he'd recommend.
