Adam is having his car flashed tomorrow by Rich....just thought i'd post since he cant. i'll post his results when i find out. should hopefully put him around 270whp. Dynocomp just picked up the evo software last week, so he'll be one of the first to have it done by Rich.

well, good thing he brought it in to Rich when he did!!!!! the car baselined at 130whp :lol: :shock: i/c piping was loose and the hack job Hks bov job that Apex did, was killing the car! switched to aps bov and picked up 30hp right away.....also Apex installed his Apexi induction box, and there was a layer of oil caked up on the maf. Rich fixed everything, did the flash and tuned the car to 270whp :shock: this is just with exhaust, dp, intake. Another awesome job by Dyno-Comp. :wink: now i need a bigger turbo again. :lol:

NO WAY!! Rich said the 2 carbon fiber "tuner by Dyn-Comp" badges gave me like 25whp alone...on top of the 270whp....

I will scan the dyno sheet soon...It is an amazingly different car now...THe power curve was drastically corrected at the top end...I am peaking and holding 22psi...IT'S AWESOME!!!

You can see really good gains on stock car with the reflash.

Biggest differences are low end torque and higher end staying power.

Bryans reflashed car pulls hard to redline, unlike mine which still kinda wheezes out up there.

You also get a big driveability boost, and less chance of detonation.

Rich has charts at the shop I think... I forget the actual numbers gained though.

On a stock WRX I'd say about 30-35whp, if you add uppipe and downpipe those numbers jump drastically...

Yea i knew that once ya do the UP/DP things change big... but i wanted to know what to expect with just the flash. thanks guys! im going to have to swing by there to check the place out sometime. Are they able to flash most cars, or just the imports? my bud with the mustang wants to get his done for performance and to kill the limiter thats on it.

yes, you should see similar gains.

He can pull a little more out with tunning, but it isn't that big of a deal

he has dyno sheets showing as much as 45whp on a stock wrx with just reflash and tuning.

After reflash:
