What type of Coilovers should I get when I'm ready to buy them? I like the Tien RAs with the EDFC but I'm not sure... Any suggestions?

Are RA's independently adjustable for rebound and dampening? If they are, then cool, but otherwise, I'd stay away from Tein's. Many people say they tend to be over-damped and under-rebounded which makes the car quite bouncy (which makes the ride annoying, especially since they tend to use super high spring rates). The Cuscos and Zeals are supposed to be the creme-de-la-creme of Japanese coilovers. If you really want the in-cab adjustment, the new Zero-2e's from Cusco look pretty awesome. If it's not that big a concern, I like the Zero-2r's.
I'm curious to see how the new Bilstein coilovers perform. Course you could get the external reservoir Moton's or Zeal and be uber-cool, but they're both well over 4g's :(

Yeah I don't really need the in cab adjustments, but I want a nice coilover that will be good for autocross... I don't really care about ride quality, because it is going to be retired to a track car soon, so I don't need to drive it everyday. I've never heard of Zeals... hmmm might need to look into those, and I just think that Cusco is over priced in general.

On some stuff, I agree with you about Cusco's pricing. But their coilovers are about on par with the current market offerings (Zeals are more expensive). The 2r's are their flagship coilovers and compare with the RA's and cost around 2200 I believe. Plus they're blue (which everyone knows is f4st4r than green)!

and Marion can get the cusco ones.....im gonna try them out next season. i've had good luck with tein on all my cars so far but i agree on them being bouncy, except for my he drift coilovers on my 240. since it wont be a daily driver, i would skip tein and try cusco/zeal. i'll be on 2r's next season.

we can get Tein, H&R, HKS, Progress, Tanabe, and some others
I would agree w/ Max and WgnTits, the Cusco Zero-2Rs are some of the best (track-suited) coilovers for the money. Keep in mind that Cusco products are engineered, race-tested, and made with highest quality materials and methods.
Tanabe is often overlooked, but they seem like nice products...

No, no, no, no, no. Everyone knows the relationship between speed and color go as follow:
Yellow>Red>Blue>Pink... Peuce (sp?) is actually #1, but it's not quite as readily available. I think we'll make it the official Surge products color.
I will likely be running Z2R's in the next few months or so as well. Unless I can sell enough blood/semen/organs to get the external reservoir Zeals.
Progress are autox proven. You can adjust heights, but not dampening. A local AZ scoobie autoxer, Josh Sortor, is the 2004 Pro Solo STX champ. He's sponsored by progress. If you see a progress ad in a magazine, you'll see his name and his car in the ad ;)
I've never heard a bad thing about cusco.
