I finally found some aftermarket stuff for the truck. Though most of it is (obvoisly) geared toward lifting it...grill guards, lights, that type of thing. No dual exhaust so far, but a few cat back singles :(
SO, should I lift it? Or lower it?
Lift- It's two wheel drive and people will make fun of me lol. Still, it's tons of fun to go romping around the desert heh. Took it minorly off road last night, and had a blast... Can't do that in the Z
Lower- Seems to be more my style... But i've been there and done that. Not much of a following for the typical things I would want... Hood, roll pan, lowering kits, etc. At least not yet.
Input? :)

LIFT it! Lowering trucks kills the purpose of the truck... And even though it is only a 2wd... who cares?! Haven't you seen baja trucks they are all 2wd. And this is coming from a guy who has driven lifted 4x4 trucks all of his life.
i say it depends on the rims you get!
Don't lift it too high ;)

do a small lift with some 33's or something, and a nice beefy looking off road rim...i like the prerunner look, maybe a small, black light bar up front. although it would look sick lowered with some big black wheels, roll pan etc. but theres the z already, so i say lift. and a nice single exhaust. does gibson have one? i had that on my jeep and it sounded mean.

OK, Gibson does have an exhaust... I found a pre-runner front bar, still looking for an actual suspension lift (don't wanna do a body lift

the only thing about a suspension lift (if not done right) things wear out pretty friggin fast, steering linkage, idler arm etc etc etc.....

light bar is pimp...dont do body lift, those are for ghey lovers in their chevys. fabtech or someone like that doesnt have a pre runner lift? my gibson exhaust sounded real mean on my 4.0 and it took a beating off road. i know you want dual, but i guarentee it will still sound meaty with something like the gib. do the pro dyno intake too!

Yeah, I'll wait for a real suspension life... THere are a ton for the older frontiers, so I'm sure it's only a matter of time. Yes, I must call Dyno comp... WOnder if they have one for the Z too...
