My buddy has a brand spankin' new, polished T3/T4 hybrid that he will sell me for $100. Now, I have never heard/read about anyone running one of these suckers on a WRX and am wondering....why not? He says it is a 4-bolt flange and he thinks it will bolt up, but from what I've gathered, I'm gonna need a custom flange. So....whaddaya think? How will this flow compared to my VF34? Spool time? And is there anywhere you guys know of that I can get a custom flange made/welded on? Sorry for all the questions, but any help is appreciated!
Thanks!
Ryan

t3/t4 is a lot like a td06 without the boost creep. Very similar hp gains

Muahahahaha Garretts are the best turbos IMHO... It will spool WAY harder then your lowly VF34. It has more lag but you'd get used to it. You could try asking Stephen at IAPerformance if he could weld the stuff up for you. There has been multiple WRXs that have had that turbo on them... it is a badass old school turbo that has been proven through the years and still out performs alot of them out there. The only downfall is that it is not ball bearing...

Garretts are the shizzy, but I think I'll be scooping this baby up. It is external wastegate and he is gonna be giving me one of those as well (not sure of brand/size)...all for $100 8) .
So now I guess I'm gonna need a new UP, a tune, and possibly mod my OEM injectors. As long as this thing spools by 3500, I'll be happy as a pig in sh!t
