wanting a new look i think, so i was thinking of having the te's powdercoated glossy black :? and of course, add the volk decals back. or im liking these new volks http://store.mauromotorsports.com/vogt18tiwrfi.html

I say leave them as is, or get the new ones, but I think that powdercoating them will loose alot of luster.

Don't powdercoat... they look awesome as is.

Oh, and don't trade em in on anything but CE's. The rest of the Volk line is surprisingly heavy (specially for the price... then again, I'm a bit of a weight whore ;)).

Erin those rims look sick on your car I agree, I wouldn't touch them. I also agree with you volks are heavy my 19"s each 1 inch wider than stock weigh almost same as stock 17"s, which is still pretty heavy. Alberto yes, yes you are a whore ;)

We are putting the steering knuckle/hub back on and replacing the front calipers... yipee... :)

I was just kidding about the helping.

But most tires end up being a little wider than the width would seem to indicate.

.5" is a big deal though.
Thats like a 10% increase in contact patch.

And you also will be stiffer sidewalls so you will keep more of that surface on the road.
