Shipping was $100 and wheels were $575. I just placed a bid because $575 was a steal, nobody else placed a bid....that guy had it listed poorly becuase I was looking for stuff for my beater 95 legacy and I came accross the wheels. He didn't have them list to hit for "WRX" or "STI" or "GAY PORN"

i'll get over to storage and snap some pics. $75 will take them! i just want to get them out of storage! and they dropped up to 2 full seconds on a spec v with just i/e. evil 8 tried them on his spec and went from a 15.2 to a 15.0.

The last time I was there, they cross threaded 3 lugs that eventually lead to 3 broken studs. Fok Discount! :evil:

yeah you have to be really careful with discount! i watch over them like hawks, but if i need tires mounted or something, i take the wheels to them so they arent taking them on/off. i had my volk in there for a tire repair, and before he touched it i loudly explained that it was a $550 wheel that would take 3-6 months to replace from japan. :lol: he made sure they were careful himself. :wink:

No up/dp is friday night and wheels are going to Angela's brother cuz he works for a tire shop. The tires need to be taken off my current wheels and mounted and balanced on the new rims.

I had to stick with the toyo's that i had. I will get the Azenis sports as soon as my buddy can track them down. I need to find 235/40/17 in azenis or 245/40/17 in the hankooks.

Try the new 615s, they look cool, don't know what they will do in terms of performance. Sure it will be comprable to the 215s.

I want those new 615's aside from looking cool they are pretty much the best street tire you can get....they are also more expensive then ryan's mom in the 70's. I may be able to get my hands on some azenis sports but all i could get were 245/45/17...way to tall for me car. those were only 120 a piece and i can get the new hankooks for 110 a piece. THe cheapest i can get the 615's for is 160...thats alot of whip for my taste.

The Hankooks are okay. I got em on the STi when I traded it in.
Tires are huge important. Plus they're on your car for 10-15k miles so if you can swing the extra 200 just think of breaking that down over that many miles and it ain't so bad. Plus the 615's are supposed to be some of the best tires available right now.
The kooks aren't that far off from the new azenis. It would take a good driver pushing the car to really notice the difference. IMHO

Everyone I know who has run them likes them, and in the GRM test they weren't that far off the 215s or 615s.
Seriously though, rich boys shouldn't trifle over $40 a tire... rich boy...
