Well...I wasted my money on some stock 03 wheels to burn through in the next few months. After those are gone, I will buy some better tires. Crappy thing is that Falken says I can only put a 215 on that wheel. They are 6.5'' and I was hoping to be able to get at least a 225 on there.
I think that my car will be limited to its driver for quite some time. So I will wait for a while befor I but wider wheels.

I had 225/50/14 tires on my neon's 14" x 6" rim. Race tires tend to be a bit wider than street tires, so you should be able to do a 225 falken on a 6.5" wide rim ;)

The biggest factor for tire sizes is gearing. Taller tire v/s shorter tire.

Goto www.autocrossing.com and check out the tire size calculator. It's easy and useful!

Thanks for coming out guys! Even though I only had 3 hours of crappy ass sleep, I had a great time with the course, the weather, and just hanging out with the crew with all the cars.

Glad Erin got a ride in the S2k, even if it was a slow one :) During TO's I cleaned it up and was the 2nd fastest S2000 during TO's (the fastest was Tage in MY car) woot!

I won the AS Open series by more than 100 plus PAX points...yay me!

The sad thing is I'm just slowly realizing the potential of the car with my skills. Plus all I have are r compounds and a "little" front sway bar :)

I say this is sad, because in the Neon I was within 87 total PAX points of a perfect season with scores of 970, 988, and 955 for the spring of 2004. I did NOT trophy that series either -LOL.

Adam, you would run in Novice 1 as ESP,SM, or STU depending on your mods.

At the last event, we had 22 people run in NV1 (Novice 1) with raw times ranging from 77.705 to 98.857.

Neither of you two will end up last ;)
