Shoulda skipped the queen sized bed maybe...

I think so...
After dinner I got real tired and passed out before we got back to the room.
Not sure how i got into bed.

That pretty much explains why your rear is sore. Even when I took a nap at Erin's my rear was sore when I woke up....no wait I had sores on my rear

it wasnt my idea to put the two single beds together! :x
track day was awesome!!!! the weather was perfect and it was sooo laid back. after lunch break, we had free reign on the course..so we could go in and out as often as we wanted. Ryan and I took turns in my car, and we have some good in car vid footage! of ryan going off course
If anyone is at all interested in track time, we need to do this again!!!! there are no walls, no obstacles to crash into at all! We managed to hit 102mph in the long stretch......and it has a nice, tight tech section as well. I think there were maybe 12 cars total out there all day! from a grand am to a viper acr, and a few race porsches. We must have put a good 50 laps down and i learned so damn much about the cornering and braking ability of my wrx. I think Ryan will agree that the brembo bbk is totally worth the money for stuff like this!! damn car brakes super hard.
Marion was much faster of course, running 1.25 or quicker laps... i managed to get down to 1.27's at the end of the day. worth the drive, worth the $75 and worth the onion rings. :) oh and pack a lunch.

it was a very nice day, and i'm already planning a return. besides the once a month track day, we can also rent this track. four or five of us can have it all to ourselves all day.
ryan & erin were outstanding drivers on the track. i still find it hard to believe that they haven't had more time and/or training. i'm really impressed. glad they're on the Surge team, but i'm already jealous of their mad skillz.
next time, i'm going to try to avoid driving back the same night. deming seems to have a pretty hawt night life, too. they have a walmart, you know.

It was pretty awesome, everything about the trip was good.
I wish we had stayed that last night and caught some of the wonderful goings on. ;)

Provided there's no school craziness or anything going on, and the AllTrac is running, I definately wanna make it next time :) Sounds like a perfect opportunity for us n00bs to get a ton of seat time

thanks marion! i think the track is where i belong, i like autox but this was much more fun for me. i need to ride with you one time to see your lines better, we couldnt keep up with you after a few turns  i'd be down for renting the track out, im sure we can get 5 people. either way, i want to go back.

Next time we will have to do a little follow the leader action. Just take some decent laps to check out eachothers lines and what not.
And we are going back...
There is not want... there is only do...

Yeah, Autox is okay, but road racing is awesome.
Should look into renting one of the tracks at Firebird. That would be ridiculous.

follow the leader would be good (for me anyway) the leader gets faster & faster each lap. your job is to stay with him! I have checked into "track" racing/schools and thats how they determine if your ready to be turned loose! I would love to do that! I would feel better if I had SS brake hose's and better fluid (I up graded the pads) maybe some R's :D

autox teach's you lines, from what I understand autox ers' make good road racers

good brakes are a must! the ss lines would help with the mushy pedal and put in some good motul fluid. ryan and i are gonna make some brake ducts for da wagon, cause those brembos get real hot!
moxie

Brake ducting is gonna be awesome.
Those brakes are incredible, and they smell like the dickens... but god do they work.
You would love Road Racing George...
I would love to take the Spec V for a few laps around Arroyo Seco
