zero to sixty and quarter mile times for most cars!
http://www.albeedigital.com/supercoupe/articles/0-60times.html sad that bens 88 all trac is just as quick as a spec v :D well stock anyways...hmm sounds like a race between ryan and ben is in order.

that was a cheap shot :P lol
In a straight line, I could probably have a pretty good run at the spec, but as soon as you toss any turns in there, I'll get owned. Trying to find out from the alltrac board why I'm still scraping and bottoming out, and where I'm going to need to dump my money to fix it.

yeah you were leaning pretty good around some of those corners sunday!!!!

lol yeah. Apparently the consensus on the alltrac board is that I need new shocks more than anything. Still trying to decide between that and a front swaybar though. That won't help with bottoming out over bumps, but I'm not sure the shocks would help that much with cornering, especially considering I just put stiffer springs on. What do you guys think? Springs that're even stiffer/adjustable, new shocks, or swaybar? Obviously, cheaper=better :D I'm a poor bastard
Shocks and swaybars won't help with bottoming out.
Bottoming out is a result of too much drop and not enough spring rate (not enough suspension travel!).
If you can only afford a front sway bar or shocks...I'd go with shocks. You might want to research what other front swaybars you might be able to use from another Toyota. You might be able to find one in a salvage yard for cheap. Just a thought.

See, that's what I figured too :P neither of them is really going to help that much with bottoming out. I'd probably get a whiteline swaybar, as I don't think mine is particularly beat up or anything, I'd just be better off with something that'd prevent body roll a little bit better. But if I'm going to be shelling out the cash to prevent it, I'd want it to take care of it this time :) D'you think I'd be better off getting a set of stiffer springs?

well since you have new springs...are they stock rate? if so, then i would really go with new shocks! you would be surprised at the difference. that would help with bottoming out and i noticed the car wallowing over bumps which the shocks would also help cure. that would be my suggestion. does anyone make adj shocks for it?

They're stiffer springs than stock, but they don't publish their spring rates, so I'm not exactly sure how much stiffer they are than stock (especially since my stock ones had been cut :? ). These are the ones I bought http://935motorsports.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=41_44_55&products_id=225
My other options for springs are Ground Control, Intrax, and Whiteline.
As far as adjustable front struts, I can get Koni or KYB AGX, plus I'd probably need new strut mounts.

By Bottoming out he means bumper to the road, not shock bottoming.
The alltrac has a stupid amount of wheel travel... i.e. I am a car created for WRC Homologation.
Shocks might be good, but they would have to be pretty dern stiff...

yeah thats why i was thinking adj ones.....hmmm

No shit!?! A car that has oodles of wheel travel...i'm jealous! If you have a choice...always take a koni sport (aka yellow) over a kyb agx.

How much difference am I really going to see between the koni yellow and the kyb agx? because the price difference is pretty serious, and I'm a poor bastard :)
