and the manual for my camera!! lost it when i bought it and i have no clue how to adjust anything. i cant get any moving shots at all. :( and i cant find a manual anyplace....

I just use really fast shutter speeds and multi shot.
Its much easier to get a good pic when you get 5 chances every few seconds :)

you need to!!! camera is a sony cybershot dsc-w1. it has the ability for good pics(5.1 mp) but i have no idea how to really set it up for different shots, and i know nothing about shutter speed etc. i would love to take some classes.

Kinda, I was timing some of Erin's laps in the car, and Marions wife was as well.
We were around the 1:30s for most of the day, approaching low 1:27s near the end. Marion was pulling 1:25s.
Erin and I were toping out at around 102 on the main straight, then braking down to 60 ish for the sweeper...
A pretty decent course length actually. And it was a good combo of fast, mid range and low speed turns. Plus a huge effing bump in the middle of the best line. LOL

as you should be! yeah my best laps were at the end in the 1:27's which im pretty happy with.

man, I'm jealous too....that course looks fun and low risk. seems like you can really try and push your hardest without having to worry about contacting your insurance company the next day. definately gotta roll with you guys for the next one.

that's pretty sick! what about insurance liabilities? do they have staff working the course? corners, flags, timing, traffic control, etc. or would we have to provide that?

I want to do that! Marion and I were talking about it on Tuesday. It's like $500, but there isd a limit of 5 cars... and the track ALL DAY LONG!

No real insurance thingys. I think they may provide a single flagger.
Pretty much just give em the money and play.
If I was to do it, it would need to be a light day. Like 5 cars or so...
With there only being a few drivers, you don't need to worry about workers, flaggers or insurance.

i didn't even notice that it was the same day. i'll have to decide, too, but definitely leaning towards track time at ASR.
brady can offer more information. he attended a similar event at the start of summer.
the general idea is the same, lots of cheap 'n easy track time. it is a 2-day event with a time attack competition on Sunday (i think).

hmm....i'll have to look that one up. I don't think we locked our dates down with the track yet. i'll find out for you though.
