Ok so the goal is to get my springs in before the next auto-x, I'd let to set up a mod day, to do springs. I think Erin still has to put his on the Xb too, I have no problem hosting it except my tool selection is very bleak, it basically consists of a torque wrench and a basic 3/8" socket set. If anyone can, I could use a lot of help, I'll even supply pizza/beer/non-alcoholic beverages. any takers?
Thanks
Dave

:D Cool, only problem is I can't find any instructions, they didn't come with any and I haven't found any online yet. From what I've read, there's a 19mm bolt that's a pain in the ass to get off, spring compresser is needed ( I can rent one from Autozone), and the bolts to the strut tops break easy when reinstalling.
If you have no other plans I'll gladly take the help :D
Thanks

I don't mind driving. Whatever works best with everyone's schedules, I'm off Monday, I also have Fri and Sat off.
Thanks

Nope, but I DO have it narrowed to 4 possibilities... '05 GTO, '05 Mustang GT, a F-250 Super Duty (turbo diesel), or a Excursion (turbo diesel)

Lets see here:
05 Mustang GT - Not as fast as GTO
05 Truck Things - Not as fast as GTO
So it sounds to me like an easy decision :)

Yes, I totally agree... But the Excursion and Super Duty would be for other things than driving fast... like trailoring my WRX to races, and getting decent gas milage around town and only having to fill up with a fuel that is cheaper than regular unleaded gas right now... And I can fit more people in for road trips.

There's a nice mineral grey premium due in sometime soon... Red interior
Good luck finding one, though. You'll get a better deal on the GTO :)

Thanks Kev, that's cool, are you going to Topeka for Solo2? I may not even be able to go to auto-x due to work, runs start at 9am, I have to leave by 10:15 to make it to work on time, I'm going to have to try and contact Geren again, starting next month with the time change I should be all set for future Sundays.

Never had a problem on the Spec V, and they rode nice while being stiff...
If someone is selling used ones, I say go for it.
