lets here the rundown kev!!
We got schooled. RX8 > 350Z in regards to autox
Thursday was the worst autox day evern. 50 degree weather, windy, and lots of rain. My best run was dirty with 1 cone :( which hurt me big time. Friday was hellafun. WIth perfect weather, the grip was phenomenal. It was so good, that it made our 350Z suck! Lot's of wheelspin, lifting the inside rear tire (yay vlsd...not), and ICE mode with the brakes :) Still a helluva lot of fun. Made it worthwhile. FWIW I was within a half second of Brady on Friday's 60 second course. That's the closest I've been able to hang with him.
If you guys know Glen Austin, a spec v guy "2003 Oregon DS champ" who has a 350Z, I've got a bad story. On his hotel stop in Utah, someone took an axe and chopped the cable lock on his trailer and stole his 350z wheels with r-tires. He came anyway, and scored a ride in an ES car. Shitty story :( What's weird is he was offered some 350Z wheels and tires and decided not to drive his car?
Oh....there ain't a whole lot of eye candy in Topeka ;)

i cant believe the rx8's were dominating! blah, oh well. you guys still did well just to get there!
Thanks! On neither day, rain or shine, were we able to utilize the Z's power. Exit speed out of the sweepers should've been our strenght, but not on one wheel heh. Also, the RX-8 drivers were pretty damn good too.
The best thing about nationals is that it got me all jazzed about trying harder locally. I think I'm going to start drinking 2 redbulls before I run. I need to get hyper.
