Anyone ride or used to ride? im gonna trade in my 04 yz250f dirty bike for a street bike....thats my bday gift to me. :) actually, i never ride the dirt bike anymore so i hate watching it sit and i could ride the new one to work and save some gas $ and be in the hov lane :lol: i'd rather get a used one, but interest is really cheap on new. I have 3 bikes in mind:

Used or New Yamaha R6
Used or New Honda Cbr 600f4i
New Yamaha Yzf600r ($1500 less new than other two)

the dirt bike? I need at least $3500 and that selling it cheap! i'v had it 2 years but it literally only has, maybe a 100hrs on it. always serviced by champion honda. also has D&D full titanium header and exhaust. sounds mean, goes fast! best handling 4 stroke on the market. :)

yeah i've had my moto license since i was 18!! rode up until 6 years ago when i moved here. big difference going from backroads of Maine to crazy streets of az! but im ready now! :lol:

The black is sweet...but i'm totally gaga over the blue/white R1/R6 Yamahas.

The F4's are nice, but I don't think you can go wrong with an R6!

yeah its probably gonna go in the trader here soon.....the R6 i bought is an 03 blue/white :D i didnt plan on buying that quick but they happened to have this one used, with only 900 miles on it! :shock: they dont come along often used at dealers so....

15,500...my 9,000 rpm redline seems weak now :oops:

I remember my old bike redlined at 13,500...it was so much fun going from 10,000 rpm to redline. I can only imagine 10k to 15k on a way more powerful bike!

well my fiance isnt so thrilled with it....and i didnt think i would buy another one, but i got this wild hair up my ass and did it. i really just cruise on it, havent even taken it about 7k rpms yet. i have no desire to be an idiot on 2 wheels......so my only concern is other people.

It's so hard to resist the calling man. I was a responsible rider 99% of the time, but the other 1% of the time...I almost dumped my bike at speed on turns 3 times. The worst was one that I drifted this turn at 45. I damn near shat myself. Stay safe!
